This Vegan Steak is one of our classics since the beginning. It’s a complex seitan, full of taste and umami flavours. It’s definitely a versatile product as you can use it in a lot of different ways. One of our favourites? Steak au poivre with a rich creamy champignon sauce, but also a warm beer stew.
Weight: 350 g (2 steaks). Slight differences in weight & shape can occur since these are artisan made products.
The Vegan Steak lasts one week in a cold fridge (<7°C). Suitable for freezing, up to three months.
INGREDIENTS / ALLERGIES
Vital wheat gluten, water, chickpea flour, red beans, balsamic vinegar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, miso paste, tomato concentrate, sunflower oil, organic nutritional yeast, organic beet powder, liquid smoke, brown sugar (less then 1%), spices, salt, xanthan gum.
Chimichurry marinade: (parsley – oregano – pili pili (22%) – garlic powder – black pepper (16%) – white wine vinegar garlic, oil, water, onions, salt, xanthan gum.
Allergies: Contains soy, gluten, celery. May contain traces of sesame, nuts, mustard.
Grease a pan or grill. Place the steak on the hot surface coated in its marinade and bake for 3-4 minutes per side, until slightly golden.
