Vegan cheez fondue
A classic of the French and Belgian cuisine: Cheez fondue!
So rich, cheesy, stretchy. Perfect delicacy for a cosy cold autumn day.
You get 500 g of fondue. This should be enough for 3-4 persons. The fondue comes in a practical vacuum bag which allows an easy portioning: just cut a small corner, squish out what you need, and store the rest in the fridge/freezer.
What do I put in a fondue?
Fondue is typically eaten with bread or potatoes. You can also make any vegetable like broccoli, cauliflower, to dip in the fondue. Also delicious: our spicy sausage, italian sausage, steak, ham. Dip in the warm cheez fondue, then eat. Enjoy!
Weight: 500 g. The Vegan Fondue lasts 2 weeks in a cold fridge (<5°). Suitable for freezing: Defrost at room temperature and add a splash of milk or water in the pot when reheating.
INGREDIENTS / ALLERGIES
Water, cashew nuts, nutritional yeast, white wine, tapioca, natural cultures, sunflower oil, garlic, spices, agave, salt.
Allergens: Gluten, cashew nuts, sulphites. Might contain traces of mustard.
Reheat the fondue in a pot or in the specific fondue set, continuously stirring with a spatula. If needed, add a splash of plant-based milk or water to achieve the desired consistency (it tends to thicken the longer you store it in the fridge/freezer). Serve with bread, grilled sausage, vegan ham…or whatever you like in a fondue 😉
